Travel Itinerary :
Day 1/Kathgodam to Pangot : pick up from Kathgodam in the morning and proceed towards Pangot, famous for birding, and also a offbeat location nearby to Nainital but away from the hustle and bustle of a commercial tourist locale. Relax for the evening in the lap of nature. Overnight stay at Pangot.
Day 2/Pangot stay : 1st option :day to relax and hike around in the forest . You may opt for birding (guided trek) and hike around to have a feel of the vibrant surrounding.
2 nd option : local site seeing in and around Nainital – Naini Lake, Bhimtal, Sattal, Naukuchiatal.
Day 3/Pangot to Kausani : check out from Pangoot and proceed towards Kausani, another vibrant and scenic hill station of Kumaun. Enroute stop at Ranikhet for lunch and also to get a feel of this pictursqe hill station. Yoy can see the snow clad Himalayan ranges from here and providec sky remain clear. Procced for Kausani. It will be late evening when you will reach Kausani. Overnight stay in Kausani.
Day 4/Kausani local site seeing : day to explore the picturesque hill station with its pristine terrace cultivation and tea plantation. Visit Rudradhari Waterfall, Anasakti Ashram, Kausani Tea Estate. Overnight stay at Kausani.
Day 5/Kausani to Chaukori : Surrounded towering Himalayan peaks and lush forests, Chaukori is an idyllic tourist destination. It is replete with snowcapped mountains, verdant valleys, deodar and rhododendrons, and picturesque views as far as the eye can go. The stunning Panchachuli peaks are visible from this paradisiacal location. Located at a height of around 2,010 m, and about 173 km away from Nainital, Chaukori hosts large stretches of emerald tea gardens, which make for excellent nature walks. Don't forget to explore the fruit orchards here. Also, don't miss the fabulous sunrises and sunsets that you are treated to. Visit Baijnath and Bageshwar temples enroute. Overnight stay at Chaukori.
Day 6/Chaukori to Binsar : Binsar was the erstwhile summer capital of the Chand Dynasty rulers, who ruled Kumaon from the 7th to 18th century AD. Situated at the height of 2,420 m, the sleepy and picturesque hamlet is one of the most scenic locations in the Kumaon hills. Due to its location, it offers spellbinding views of the majestic Himalayan peaks such as Chaukhamba, Trishul, Nanda Devi, Shivling and Panchachuli. Over night stay at Binsar.
Day 7/Binsar stay : Go for an exhilarating trek of 2 km to Binsar Zero point to enjoy the wilderness and surreal beauty of nature. Binsar hill, at an altitude of 2,420 m, is another easy trekking destination. Set amidst lush greenery, the hill offers panoramic views of the Greater Himalayas and Kumaon hills. Visit this place for beautiful sunset and sunrise views. You may explore the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary. Jeeps and other similar vehicles are easily available at the park's gate. Over night stay at Binsar.
Day 8/Binsar to Mukteshwar via Almora :
Day 9 : drop to Kathgodam : after checking out from your resort in Mukteshwar, you will be dropped to Kathgodam for your return journey back home
