Travel Itinerary :
Day 1 - Pickup from Guwahati in the morning & drive to Shillong, via Umiam Lake. Stop to spend some time by the lake and & enjoy the serenity around. You may opt for boating as well. Check in to your Hotel in Shillong. After freshening up, we go out for local site seeing at Wards lake,Shillong Peak, Don Bosco museum. N/s at Shillong.
Day 2 - start early & drive towards Cherrapunjee via Mawsynrum. Visit Mawjynbuin Cave, step step waterfall, Mauphlang dam & sacred grave en route. N/s at Cherrapunjee.
Day 3 : trek to Nongriat double decker root bridge. Its a whole day trek covering almost 6000 steps,3000 one way. You may further trek up to the rainbow falls and return back the same way. N/s at Cherrapunjee.
Day 4 : Local siteseeing in & around Cherrapunjee. Spots : Makadok View Point,Wakabha Falls,Rama Krishna Mission,Noh Kali Kai Falls,Eco Park,Mawsmai Cave,Noh Sngithiang Falls (Seven Sister Falls),Thangkhrang Park,Motrop,Khon Ramhah Stone, Arwah caves, Kriam Falls, Deithelan Falls, Kynrem falls, Garden of Caves.-.N/S at Cherrapunjee.
Day 5 - Drive to Shnongpdeng, a village on the banks of Umangot river popularly known for water activities on the crystal clear river water of Umangot. You may indulge in various water sports like Kayaking, Lining, Cliff Jumping or Snorkelling (at your own cost) over there. Later drive to Mawlynnong with local site seeing on the way. Night stay at Mawlynnong.Available Spots : Asia Cleanest Village Tour, Living Root Bridge, Balancing Rock, Sky View Point, Tree House, With Dawki, Bangladesh Border.
Day 6 - Drive to Jowai, Sight Scene on the way.Available Spots : Krangsuri Falls, Phe Phe Falls, Monolith Stone, Durga Temple, Tui Mui Falls, Shiv Temple. Back to Shillong for night stay.
Day 7 – Day trip to Markham and Mawlankhar. Return to Shillong for n/s.
Day 8 – visit Laitlum Canyon in the morning. Later check out from hotel after which proceed towards Guwahati for your return journey back home.
