The Land of Blue Mountains

Travel itinerary: 

Day 1 – Pick up from Lengpui Airport and proceed to Saitual.  Night stay at Saitual

Day 2 – Visit Tam Dil in the morning after checking out from Saitual. After that proceed to Champhai. Night stay at Champhai. 

Day 3  – Day trip to Rih dil for which we will proceed to to Zokhawthar. Cross the bridge to Myanmar to visit Rih Dil (if permission is granted at that time).  Return to Zokhawthar and later back  to Champhai. Night stay at Champhai. 

 Day 4  – Check out from Champhai and first visit Vangchhia Kawtchhuah ropui – a UNESCO World Hreritage Site located on the Myanmar Border. After visiting Vangchhia Kawtchhuah ropui, proceed  to Thenzawl. Lunch at Biante – Mizoram’s cleanest village.  Night stay at Thenzawl, Mizoram. 

 Day 5 – Check out from  Thenzawl and first visit Vantawng Falls– the tallest in Mizoram over Vanva river &  Tuirihiao Falls Later proceed to Sangau. Enroute lunch at Tuipui and then visit Darzo viewpoint. Night stay at Sangau

Day 6 – Sangau to Thaltlang village for Blue Mountain Trek (7 Km). Return to Sangau for Night stay

Day 7  – Sangau to Phura via Siaha, Zero Point, Tuipang . Night stay at Phura. 

Day 8 – Phura to Castle of Beino (Kolodyne), Lodaw (19 Km) for boating. Back to Palak Dil, located within Palak Wildlife Sanctuary. Palak Dil to Phura. Night stay at Phura. 

Day 9  – Phura to Lunglei via Tuipang. Night stay at Lunglei. 

Day 10 – Lunglei to Tuirihiau falls, Tuirihiau falls to Sialsuk Tlang. Sialsuk Tlang to Hmuifang. Overnight stay at Tourist resort Hmuifang. 

Day 11 – Hmuifang to Reiek . After lunch hike to Reiek Peak. Visit Mizo typical village. Night stay at Reiek. 

Day 12  – Reiek to Aizawl with local site seeing- Mizoram State Museum, Solomon’s Temple, Aizawl City View, Durtlang, KV Paradise. Night stay at Aizawl. 

Day 13  – Drop to  Lengpui Airport for your return journey back home.
