Zanskar Valley : The Hidden Gem of Ladakh

Travel Itinerary :

• Day 1 - pick up from Manali in the morning & proceed towards Gonba Ronjon, the solitary holy mountain of Zanskar via Shinkhula pass.Overnight camping at Gonba Ronjan.

• Day 2 - after breakfast and checking out from there, we will proceed towards Padum- the headquarters of Zanskar valley. Enroute we will stop at Purne. Trek to Phugtal Monastery. Lunch at Phugtal/Purne.Later proceed to Padum for n/s.

• Day 3 - local site seeing in Padum (Zanskar valley) - Stongdey monastery, Karsha Monastery, Sani monastery & lake, Sheela waterfall. N/s at Padum.

• Day 4 - proceed towards Panikhar - in Suru Valley. Enroute visit Nun Kun peaks, Drang Drung glacier, the twin lakes near Pensi La. Return to Padum for n/s.

• Day 5 -after checking out from Padum today, we will proceed towards Leh for n/s.Enroute, stop at Zangla, the earstwhile capital of Zanskar and visit Zangla Fort. On the way, you will be crossing 3 high altitude Himalayan Passes and you will witness some divine landscape along side an adventurous off-roading experience driving along Zanskar river. N/s at Leh.

• Day 6 - proceed towards Jispa after crossing Baralacha pass. Enroute, stop by Suraj tal & Dipak Tal. You will be enthralled by the beauty of Spiti’s greener version - the landscape of a vibrant Lahaul valley. Overnight stay at Jispa.

• Day 7 - Drop to Manali by late afternoon for your return journey back home.
